Android is kinda messed up. My parents both are pretty limited phone literacy, and both use Android. They're asking me to help with general funkiness, and everything is just slightly higher friction than iOS and a pain to figure out

Yea I was a long time android user and switch to iOS with my latest phone Overall design is just so much more thoughtfully considered. The vast majority of necessary actions are one/two taps or gestures away. I was oblivious to the extra steps when using android

That friction is a product of more options, which i greatly appreciate, in contrast to the very closed ios experience Current iphone user (12)
