Unfortunately Mastodon doesnโ€™t count with some basic attributes for me to consider it. Doesnโ€™t have E2E messaging (they are basically toots in plain text between 2 users and accessible to the server owner) and itโ€™s difficult to ensure the right to be forgotten when a message spreads among instances.

Welcome ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™ve been trying them all too. Was immediately turned off my Mastodon public DMs. Server owners can read them. Lens is great and have been using it to host video podcasts. Farcaster is closest to Twitter in social interactions and commentary. Encrypted DMs too.
