I continue to think Warpcast would benefit a lot from integrated polls :)

In the base protocol, it's fine to make polls a plugin or some other construction that doesn't needlessly privilege them and uglify the software architecture. But at the UI level, I think they should be as integrated as Twitter/Mastodon polls.

Agreed! Would be a good thing to work on after mainnet launch

Yup, should be straightforward. We can reuse reactions for votes.

We'll probably start with public polls which are straightforward to implement. 

The dynamics will be different from private polls, but useful enough that people will try it out. 

Can evolve it into private polls after we iron out the basics.

How important is privacy for poll voters? Twitter etc has some amount of implicit privacy, I worry about the quality of votes if all actions are public and attributable to anyone running a hub.
