A little inspiration after reading "A Night in the Lonesome October" by Roger Joseph Zelazny. In appearance, this is a postmodern crossover, where characters and personalities familiar from English literature and world history of the 19th-20th centuries can be easily guessed. In reality, everything is much more complicated. No, it’s not the text, it’s poetically airy here. It’s not about the epic scale, everything here is intimate, autumn-cosy. It's about emotions, about that bright sadness with a light, ironic smile, about that unforgettable aftertaste that makes you want to forget everything so you can read it again. Once again he will plunge into the Great Game, a Game that is 31 October days long, fit into 31 small chapters. Just a couple of evenings, if you think about it... But what kind.
