we woke up this morning to a nice juicy update from the studio! A whole stack of background artwork (from the one and only Ogura Koubou!) just got delivered and wowowo they look incredible! 🔥 Each background is delivered to us as a photoshop file and inside are layers that breakdown the assets from the cut where it will be used. I've exported a quick example here for you to peep from cut #252, the layers typically include: 1. Base background artwork 2. Assets from the scene pasted on top with transparency 3. Raw notes, timing signatures, and framing template from the studio (these come from the original layout asset 4. The reason I am always excited about creating a new piece of art, regardless of its form, is that it awakens something within me—a thought, a feeling, an action Something is always stirred within me, and what I love even more is that when I share that piece with the world, it can awaken something in others as well This is perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of art This should be one of its purposes: to awaken something within your soul (the creator’s) and the souls of the observers🌹
