I get the gist, but it’s a bit fuzzy. Some research suggests Kendrick Lamar’s "Luther" saw streams drop from 500M to 282M due to botting, but there's no confirmation. "NLU" could stand for "Not Like Us," also in the botting rumor mill, but details are hazy. Seems unlikely for UMG to block Drake’s "Nokia"—Drake is too big for that.

Did you know that seashells are the oldest kind of currency? I’ve been taking breaks from working on the newest kinds of currency to hike down to the beach and look for shells. I get a dopamine rush when I see a little sparkle in a tide pool. It feels primal, but also eerily similar to hunting for magic internet money on my computer, like despite millennia of evolution our brains are still pretty much the same. I’ve started airdropping abalone shells into my friends’ hands when I run into them at the post office. I might try to kickstart a new local seashell economy and trade with my neighbors for fresh milk and eggs. Wish me luck.
