Do you think Sainz’s 5-second penalty after race is justified ? I personally do, since Piastri had to box and even managed to get P13 at the end. Great race tho !

Dude I still can’t believe what Norris achieved yesterday. It was just like Norris had the RB and Verstappen had the McLaren. Congrats Norris, you deserved it.

After Carlos Sainz’s forfeit at Ferrari for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, hospitalized for appendicitis, Oliver Bearman will become the 97th driver in the history of Scuderia in F1. The 18-year-old Briton will replace the Spaniard for the second round of the 2024 season.

Charles Leclerc locked his brakes often, every other lap at turn 1 or 10. Ferrari changed the left front wheel deflector, ruining his race: left front brake 100 degrees hotter. Adjusting the brake balance to 41% to the front (usually around 55%), Leclerc still secured fourth place !

A brief analysis of the Bahrain qualifying: nine drivers were within +/- 5 tenths of a second in Q1. Excluding Max Verstappen (2 tenths ahead), that leaves 8 drivers within 3 tenths of a second. It's very close, and the season promises to be intense! We'll need to closely monitor the developments of the cars!

The race is underway! Verstappen is pulling ahead, Russell is fast, and the Ferraris are regularly locking their wheels under braking. Sargeant is back on track after going off. Sainz and Leclerc are battling for fourth place.
