active outreach is not a bad thing. I wouldn't have joined farcaster if people active here hadn't tweeted about stuff going on here. its fine to just hang out here as well, not everyone needs to be an evangelist but cults don't typically grow without them

I feel like targeted outreach is worthwhile. nnPeople with large audiences on Twitter or elsewhere nhave the most to gain by owning those relationships and greater potential for financial income from that audience here on FC. nnHowever simultaneously these people the greatest sunk cost from having a large existing audience captured in a corporate network, and so the largest disincentive to switch from platform to protocol.nnIf you can bring these people across you’ll bring more of the conversation across and their audience will follow, especially if they’re not cross posting to Twitter or elsewhere.n1/
