the rabbit r1. its not very useful yet but i did not have a ton of expectations either. so far it can play music and answer questions. trying to do stuff with just a button press and voice is more painful than i imagined.

Apple needs to create a way to breakout the physical keyboard and make it visible along with hands in full immersion backgrounds.

Vision Pro could have been named iPad Spatial For casual users, its like an iPad on the device spectrum. We wouldnt miss it like an iPhone or a Macbook, but having it around helps in situations we find iPads handy and useful. Also, used it for an entire day and had no fatigue

Netflix will not be missed. Vision Pro is designed to be more present and do stuff in the real world. Killer app category could be learning, like having help in the form of visual cues when looking at a piano, or trying to cook, or trying to DIY at home. There is a huge 0 to 1 barrier when trying new things today.

killer app for vision will most likely be the photos app, capturing memories in spatial to rewatch them later would be unmatched by anything else available on the market right now and is going to be a 10x improvement start capturing spatial videos with iphone 15 pros
