Should we rename Frames v2 to Mini Apps? This is one of the most requested changes from devs, and we're prioritizing it this week. Here's a quick proposal for how the name change could be implemented. Looking for quick feedback from developers before we draft docs and fips.

Mini App will refer to the window that pops up when you launch an app. Mini App embed will refer to the item that shows up in the feed when you add a miniapp into a cast. We'll also have link embeds, cast embeds and all the other types that we support today.

Yes to frames -> mini apps Some feedback on composer actions: As a user, the verb “compose” is not part of my vocabulary. I remember not intuitively knowing what composer actions were when they rolled out. I think about “creating” casts more than composing them. Thanks for sharing and asking for feedback. Language is important, imo 🙏

How about just ‘apps’? Farcaster apps. What is mini vs mega is relative and the qualifiers keep changing. ‘Apps’ is just easier, shorter, and straightforward.

I like the move, but I'm still concerned on how we talk about these concepts when the context is not strictly about Farcaster, and then we have to say "farcaster mini app", "farcaster share action", etc, which is a mouthful... How about something along these lines? - CastApps - CastActions - CastComposers Something like this would make it easy to say "we are specialized in building, dApps and CastApps" for example.

I think frames as it has strong brand identity with farcaster, and while although they are mini-apps, they are also a specific type of mini-app Could go with frame-apps all that being said
