Exciting! Voters & validators will be purely a public service? I’m also curious about the twitter comparison near the start. Based on the numbers, twitter has 500 bytes of state growth per user per day, while Farcaster’s is 20k. Why such a big difference?

@v, this has matured impressively from iteration to iteration. Nice! What are the thoughts about the snapshot service? Would you consider using ipfs? A nice benefit of using ipfs is that the snapshot CID can be used as the snapshot hash. Anyone can pin snapshots, and preserve pins for as long as they like. So, I can fetch a snapshot just by using the information in the block, no other dependency like access to a specific server, dns, etc.

The consensus mechanism is very very interesting. > Users would simply stop using Farcaster if it was clear that the network was censoring people. i definitely believe that farcaster will not censor anything but people were highly critical of web2 social platforms but kept using them most likely because of the network effects. Farcaster's strongest moat is its open follow graph and it might be huge risk if that can be censored.
