This proposal is a first step in that direction. With Snapchain's launch we now have a lot more headroom to scale. We propose that: - The size of each storage unit is reduced by 8x (most units are underused today) - The cost of each unit is reduced by 10x (roughly $0.20c) We'll observe how this works for a few months and then consider reducing it even further if snapchain keeps scaling as we anticipate.

You should probably actually raise the fees and use the funds as an incentives for the public to run snapchain infra. Then you would have a product that was actually decentralized and crypto native that people could get excited about.

So if one has a @holonym, human passport, etc., will they be able to just sign up and enjoy the privileges of self-sovereign PoH, or will they have to jump through a bunch of bespoke hoops which ignore the fact that it's 2025 and primitives exist?
