If you're curious about how the feed works now, it's basically: 1. Take casts from your following and order them reverse chron 2. Move casts higher if they're from someone you interact with a lot 3. Move casts higher if they have a lot of engagement 4. Move casts lower if you've seen them before

There are a lot of smaller rules like: - Don't show two casts from the same person back to back - Add a couple casts from your second degree network (things that people you follow like)

Nice transparency. Are you planning on posting the actual algo, too? You could keep an archival repository of every version on something like arweave...

looks good! how is "engagement" calculated between replies, recasts, and likes? or are they treated equally?

Hey! I have some feedback about this. I got one cast with ZERO visibility. I have some people I interact with (not a lot but enough?). So my following count is not that high.seems this algorithm will make newcomers practically invisible. This is the cast if you want to take a look https://warpcast.com/pamadd/0x0fc67648

Is there a switch to just make it chronological? I often try to go back to see something I looked at earlier, but I get stuck in a thing where I can only see posts that are like 12+ hours old, even though I know I just saw some recent stuff moments before.

Any special rules on accounts with a lot of followers? Or it is just an organic flywheel. More followers > more chances for engagement > moving higher > interacting only with them if time is limited
