I am generally not interested in this algorithmic home feed. When I want that I go to Twitter. The recent mobile update changed the way my favourite channels are accessible. Before it was one click. Now I have to reach to the profile button in the top left corner in the middle of the night laying in the dark of my bed, which requires two hands. Then I need to find something relevant in the small scrollable sidebar window. I noticed recently that I just close the Warpcast mobile app instead of find a channel again.

My 2c: most feeds have too much focus on recent content. The content on FC is still somewhat limited, and highly prioritizing recent content could be too restrictive at this point. I’d love to see more content in my feed that is interesting but not necessarily new (e.g. content with a lot of likes or content that is similar to other content I have liked in the past). This way, good content is also recycled for continued engagement, which can be useful if FC doesn’t have a big, constant flow of interesting content yet.

that first one 🙏 a more diverse feed w algo not giving so much weight to recent interaction think it would be cool to filter the home feed by genre eventually - photography, art, videos, memes, words, frames, links, etc - rodeo does this well by allowing the person uploading to “tag” the post w a genre - bc it would be ppl u are already following wouldn’t need to worry as much about spam of the tags imo

I keep tapping “show fewer like this” on moxie, claiming, and every other farming type cast but I keep getting served those kinds of casts Not sure how to solve bc I don’t want to mute or unfollow everyone who participates in that

Pretty much, just want following feed. No recommendations, I understand the benefit of discovery, unfortunately being recommended and force fed topics I don’t want to my brain to consume, has not been a benefit. Appreciate you asking.

1) Ability to follow someone but hide some of their channel posts in feed 2) I see people still that I don’t follow posting to channels I’m not in, forced me to block them 3) would love to block or filter out app-posted “I just earned blah blah”

Often times ill see and engage with a cast. If I leave the app and start scrolling I’ll see the same cast but it will show I have engaged with it

4-5 hour old casts on multiple swipe downs. Unsure if my internet is slow or it was meant to refresh with a similar feed style. I'm fine with seeing /older/ casts I was just hoping that a refresh would deliver a mixed algorithm

seeing a 'gm' that was casted 15h ago hasn't been cool. - still too many old casts, doesn't matter if on first loading or later in the day - too many people that i decided not to follow still showing up every day, even after 'see fewer like this' thank you for considering the 'following feed'!

You prob wont see this reply cuz you have me muted, but I will still chime in cuz I want to help: - Suggested channels carousel for discovering channels I don't yet follow - Maybe bring back reply bumping? - I never see recasts on home feed, so it leads me to believe that recasts dont do anything? - Dedicated feed for native video casts - Replace trending feed with filter feed that allows you to rank by most likes, replies, recasts for different timeframes (4hr, daily, weekly, monthly)
