Two things I think she missed tho:

1) hampering all social media companies threatens the competitiveness of American companies versus foreign tech companies, which in turn threaten American hegemony.

2) the impact of social media on mental health is also something that should be addressed in regulation or programs.

I’m fine with TikTok and her take— find it kind of funny she approaches TikTok with nuance when she prob wouldn’t afford any other tech company - mostly because her supporters also use TikTok.
