I can't find the message bundles spec to check if there is a size limit, but: These new messages may be very large compared to other message types. Can this create some conflict with message bundles size?

Clean spec writeup and seems to be backwards-compatible at first glance!

how does one know they are about to run out of space? do you get notifications?

The FIP seems to assume that there is only one LinkAddMessage.type. Is it just an omission on how the proposal was written, or is it something else?
