i feel sad to know @farcaster is going to basically heavily handicap if not outright kill /frames 

with the v2 spec.

Frames without post buttons are probably as useful as the original OpenGraph metadata.

if we strip interactivity from the primitve, what innovation is left worth pereserving in it ?

Frames are going to become more interactive with v2, not less! 

Currently talking to a lot of frame developers to collect feedback before we propose a v2 design. 

Frames as they currently exist will be supported for several months. Only switch to v2 if it’s good for you.

High level idea is marrying frames with mini-apps 

Initial surface is compact in the feed, on interaction you have a larger surface area that you control with html/css and some access points to return to the app and invoke transactions and other actions
