Asked Claude (via Cursor) to refactor an error class in Snapchain. Quite impressive - found cases that a simple find and replace would have missed and cleaned up linter issues automatically. https://github.com/farcasterxyz/snapchain/pull/188

The only complaint was that it took too long and Cursor failed it because it was using too many credits or something, though I was paying for the pro version. This seems easily solvable in the near future.

claude is really good at these sorts of bugs. I rely on it a lot for crypto code reviews and it really understands best practices. However, when it comes to writing zk circuits, all the frontier models produce nonsense: making up plonky2 / circom calls that don't exist, weird logic that doesn't hold up, etc. It is really weird to watch something so capable in other domains fall apart in this area.
