at the risk of engaging in the folly of a "subtance demander," and making an actual point, what do you think will happen when you "force" a grocery store to sell their goods at a loss? they will charitably do so? or is it more likely they will simply stop selling that good?

deadass tho, it sounds like you're joking, saying this is just punting the problem up the food chain... but don't we (USA) already heavily subsidize the farmers, to the point where they basically just grow what the government pays them to? so maybe introducing price controls on farmed goods isn't a drastic shift...

This got me thinking: this great solution would then need to be applied to everything in order for people to accept reduced wages, because companies can't pay the continued inflated rates if their profits are forced to be reduced. Then when workers don't accept them, they will be forced to accept them. And if you can't pay enough workers with the profit you have, then you need some one to decide how many workers an operation really needs... I feel like this is getting better and better 😅😁
