I'm sure I'm not the only one who spent too much time in the yt rabbit hole before buying camera gear. 

My first cam (Fuji xh1) was painstakingly picked, and has served me gloriously. But it's a tank, and I have to be intentional about taking it out. I miss many shots. 

In general, I've learned to slide down from the midcurve, and toom that approach with my photography. Enter the Sony rx100vii.

Longer zoom is a huge plus, but most importantly, it won't leave my side. I'll get to experiment way more, particularly with film.

Time to level up.

felt! i was going for literal pocket camera but there are a lot of appealing options

This is my goal this coming year, afford a good compact. So many missed shots bc i carry my regular everywhere.
