Because of moxie it has become extremely difficult to get a response from large accounts, which makes the desire to comment on their posts completely disappears, because you are sure in advance that you will be ignored.

most moxie farmers bring nothing to the conversation. Its uncommon that there is good conversation to be foun below the "view more replies" button (although definitely not unheard of). Based on the quality of the casts, Its very obvious when someone is replying to me because my replies get them moxie. I ignore those people intentionally. I'm sure that this is not the only reason that big accounts ignore small accounts in the replies, but bringing good quality conversation to the thread is always a starting point. 

But i get your point about it being discouraging. I hope you're finding your crowd somewhere on here.
