is higher a success if we only take action for monetary reasons?

there is an inherent tension for decentralized social media:
- its value prop is that you can't be censored
- but it also wants to give you an engaging feed free of objectionable stuff, so it requires soft censorship of others

what gives?

likes need a counterbalance, even if just informs your own feed

one thing i'd like to focus on in 2025 is empowering people in the higher community to succeed and excel in their endeavors outside of higher - 2 questions:
1) what are you building/creating/striving for in 2025?
2) how can we leverage this community to empower?

2024: building momentum - learning, experimenting, growing

2025: value capture - clear priorities, sharper focus, pressing harder
