This made me think of this prisonerā€™s dilemma type game where the players choose to take or give. And if everybody chooses to give, they all get rewarded. But if one or more persons choose to take, they share everyone elseā€™s money.

Matrix protocol has some cool ideas around bridges. Thereā€™s a lot of folks who achieve this across WhatsApp, Signal and TG. The beauty of having xmtp is we donā€™t need any of that.

At that point we didnā€™t have the fully interactive V2 frames. I think now we can fully realize completely portable apps where the medium doesnā€™t matter: post it on Farcaster timeline, DM, group message, CB wallet message and you can interact with it the same

I tried the Converse mobile app a while ago and played with the wordlebot. The a ha moment was when I realized it supports open frames (v1 at the time). I thought, wow, this is incredible, this looked like Telegram bots 2.0 where you might not even need a mini app.

+1 to this. It would make a lot of sense to integrate xmtp into DMs. Think of the possibilities once you can also support Frames v2 directly in conversations

Zodiac Roles mod is an incredible tool when combined with a multi sig like Safe. I know Gnosis Pay uses them, but other than that and a few DAOs, Iā€™m shocked how little usage / attention it gets.

Having more EOA wallets like Warplet or CB wallet is totally fine. You can add them as signers to multi sig smart wallets like Safe. It makes the setup that much better (something like a 2/4 multi sig is amaze)

I think youā€™re trying to solve for too many variables. Non human generated spam should be dealt with differently from non interesting, spammy human generated content. I would think the social layer should filter for the latter, and intervention such as hiding or labelling should only apply to the former ?

I donā€™t think weā€™re far from being able to do this very easily. If Farcaster integrates xmtp for messaging and starts supporting frames directly in the chats, weā€™re one step closer. Bonus is other wallets like Coinbase are also on xmtp so you could possibly flip over there to pay if thatā€™s your main wallet.

I think both Sui and Phantom wallets do this well by curating dApps and surfacing them to the user. Too many wallets are so boring and donā€™t drive ppl to use them.

Got my wallet today and funded it. It would be great to discover fun things I can do with it directly in the wallet (or maybe in my bookmarked frames screen). One idea could be to highlight Frames that require on-chain interaction.

The moment I realized this interoperability the most was when I posted a Frame v1 link in Converse (xmtp chat app) and it just worked because they followed the open frames standard.

If anything, this hole meme cycle brought a lot of Phantom mobile wallet users - a lot of them. It would be wise to onboard those folks into things like FC by supporting Phantom or integrate someone into Phantomā€™s app browser thingy
