IPFS and S3 don’t offer Data Availability guarantees for blockchain systems.

Are you familiar with the data availability challenge construct that must be used when IPFS or S3 is used for DA?

Hasn’t that popularly been signaled to risk

- cost futility: challenger can burn more than the challenged can

- stifled performance: smaller chunks of data dumps to scale disputes at the cost of low bandwidth

- centralisation: only wealthy sequencers can offer higher bandwidth of data dumps to resist bad fishermen
