I've decided to start using Noopept again after a six year break. Noopept increases NGF and BDNF that's important for neuroplasticity, especially as we age. It also offers neuroprotection, protecting your brain from toxic cell death.

Did you know that not all sugars are metabolized the same? Fructose, unlike glucose, it metabolized by the liver, leading to lipogenesis โ€” it primarily gets stored as fat. Whereas glucose is primarily available for energy expenditure.

Update: TIL that vitamin C enhances the bioavailability of magnesium the hard way. It took low blood pressure for a day to figure that out. My anti-tendonitis protocol is now 8mg/day until 1 week after pain resides, then 2mg/day maintenance. Reduce magnesium supplementation when on a high dose of vitamin C.

I wonder, how many illnesses are caused (or correlated at least) by inadequate vitamin and mineral consumption? Why are DRVs so low? Why haven't they been updated in, what, 50 years?

I had tendonitis of the forearms and bicep for about 7 years. I experienced pain with curling as low as 30lb dumbbells. I had to cut out a variety of exercises. Doctors couldn't help. A few weeks ago I started mega dosing vitamin C. 4g/day. Tendonitis gone. I'm back to curling 75lb dumbbells pain free.

Any creatine monohydrate will do. Switch to HCL if monohydrate gives you gastrointestinal problems.

Having your feet land in front of you essentially creates a high impact breaking force that slows you down and puts significant stress on your bones, muscles, and tendons. It's quite common for people to do, but can be corrected with practice

Your muscles and nervous system will need some time to become efficient at it, much like trying a new exercise at the gym. Form, tempo, and breathing also play large factors. If you're looking for a specific idea, how's your form? Do your feet land in front, or underneath you?

Yeah 375mg is pushing it. I'd love it if they offered a stim-free variant. It's unfortunate that there's not much demand for stim free

PreJYM is the ๐Ÿ Multiple longevity supplements and using clinical doses. That's how it's different from typical preworkout powders that seek to only stimulate you. Did I mention the founder is a PhD that has conducted research on gene regulation at Yale?

I have a pod Pod 3 Cover and I absolutely love it. Time to fall asleep has decreased dramatically and I also wake up less often throughout the night. The stats are useful, but I can't speak much about them because I pay attention to my Whoop stats more than anything.
