To be fair, though, everything up to and including talking about the user flows is more of a general statement of what you did and your thoughts on what will happen next (sometime in the future).  No response required.

And "let me know when..." is fairly open-ended in such that "Ok" is 100% reasonable if a person doesn't know yet-- it's acknowledgment they will let you know.

It appears that with Danny you may need to be more straightforward with how you phrase your requests.
