Tim Ferris taught me a wonderful principle many years ago “Free or full price” Never negotiate on price for your offerings It cheapens your brand & is a total waste of time. Bonus - whenever someone tries to negotiate you can just refer to this rule & tell them you simply don’t negotiate on price

being homeless at 17 when my step father kicked me out of home i thought I was on track to go to a top university for psychology never got to finish high school even & thought life was over already was homeless again after 2 years in the army & was convinced even MORE that it was over now at 30? happier than ever

It doesn’t always have to be a 10/10 Sometimes showing up means a few less hours than usual - but still being there. Sometimes showing up means ensuring you take the weekend off so you come back refreshed AF You are your own best operator - you know when you’re doing what you get to or not.

after the last bull run sitting at the computer 18 hours a day I started getting splitting headaches & I suffered from a knee injury simply trying to run after a dog. I was 27 As someone who prided himself on being strong only 1-2 years before it was staggeringly scary Now at 30 I'm almost back to peak condition

drug addicts are kinda the lucky ones society tells them pretty quickly that the path their on isn't "the answer" but if someone is addicted to say... - money - power - status - women and is good at getting it? society will celebrate them for doing so takes much longer to realise it isn's "the answer"

recent surveys suggest that many men over 30 feel like they don't have ANYBODY they can talk to about what they are going through yet - studies also show simply talking to a friend for 8 mins is often all that someone needs to feel better. i'll be saying Hi & getting curious about anyone who likes this cast

4 years ago I was presented with an opportunity to manage funds for people trading crypto I’d never done it before I lost it all & was redirected to starting a business club for tech founders instead. Now? We’re crushing it & bringing the best in the business together. Much more aligned with my skills 😁

"I pay myself last" - founders who end up burning out I used to say the same I was virtue signalling that "i'm not in it for the money" which is fine - sure but if you're a founder who's running out of personal funds all the time, you are likely to be an emotional leader too
