In a vast majority of cultures and societies, the model's pose would be considered provocative, the look in her eyes adding fuel to the fire. Personal threshold of what we consider acceptable or not, will be closely related to each individual's background: social norms in the area where they live, religious upbringing and education. In this case, I believe that this image crosses that threshold for a majority of the earth's population, thus officially making it "porn".

Something can be porn and a form of artistic expression at the same time though. Banana on a wall is still a banana, even if it's framed. Likewise, you can have a technically perfect porn and a technically bad art...

That the image in question is porn (to some)? 😁 That the image in question is art (to some)? 😁

I agree 100% as to the arousal. Porn is more controversial (obviously). Again, the line here is very thin and not clearly defined... as we have discussed before. Of course, it can be said that if someone finds it offensive, they don't have to look/admire/buy... Here is how I would sum it up: porn is porn, art is art. Sometimes the two may overlap (but not everyone will agree). But, porn will not stop being porn, even if it is considered artistic in some circles. And of course the opposite is true. If a group of people consider an image to be art, it will not stop being art (to them) even if others view it as porn. However, the social norms are a lot more lenient on what is considered art than the norms on what is regarded as porn...

All legit questions. The line is definitely evolving (not in the same way in different parts of the world). On which side do we work (from our point of view of course)? I guess our work is evolving along the same line, and it can shift in both directions... so the impact on our portfolio depends on the point in time we are at. No clear answer....
