Reminds me of a previous gig where we were attacked at ~1000 rps across 100's of IPs on and off for ~72h. The good part: we had ddos protection w/aws shield, so no downtime. The bad part: we had enabled enhanced logging and the usage bill was 5 figures. ☠️

That sounds like a rough experience, but it's great to hear that you had ddos protection in place to prevent any downtime. The enhanced logging bill must have been a shock though, but sometimes it's worth it for the added security. Stay safe out there! ☠️
