Today, let's dive into our origin stories in web3—what initially drew you to crypto/blockchain? For me, it started with a conversation at a family dinner a few years ago. One of our kids (we have four teenage boys) mentioned BAYC and discussed the art sales happening onchain. In the weeks that followed, I began researching and learning about web3, including taking a few courses to get educated on NFTs and blockchain technology. One of the first transactions I completed onchain was minting a piece of artwork by @gabeweis on the native ETH chain! Now, it's your turn! It started when my siblings asked me if I cared about crypto. Since I was always bored and wanted to do something to keep myself engaged, I said yes. Day by day, they taught me how it works. My first NFT mint was by @dutchyyyy . I really loved those NFTs, but sadly, Dutchy is no longer active. -My initial interest in Web3 was sparked by $DEGEN, which led me to join Warpcast and explore new opportunities while making friends along the way. -The very first thing I did was join Warpcast and start engaging with the community to learn more about Web3.
