Ahhhh I wouldn’t have called them alt but here for this. You already know how I feel 😂

My brain can’t handle all of the music categories. Like there are so many sub categories. I just like what I like and when I like it I like it a lot. I want Doechii to win everything

I would say "alt" is the broad term then you can dive into which specific lane from there, like if they're goth or something

It's sort of a catch all term for "Black people outside of the stereotype"
In music terms it generally refers to people not making straigthforward rap or R&B music.
