I frequently find myself being discourage about the fact that we're largely only building for the crypto people who are already here. We have this grand vision of bringing the rest of the world onchain but it feels like no one actually knows how to do it. Pretty much every "successful" crypto business comes from PMF with crypto-natives - and very very few apps actually have real users that use the product for the crypto elements. We see glimpses of it every cycle - but it's more about the meta that makes the most money more so than embracing the culture in a way that actually makes a meaningful difference in people's lives. So what happens is it feels like chasing trends when in reality what I'm trying to find is the glue that actually keeps people around. The problem is nothing has kept people around in crypto outside of making money and that simply doesn't scale to the rest of the world. Keeping a close eye on whoever breaks this loop first.

I think that's the problem with thinking about how to onboard the masses. Nothing will onboard the masses all at once. What will happen is that we keep onboarding small cohorts of people and iterating on UX and features until it attracts the next cohort. Rinse and repeat until it becomes completely normal to be in crypto in some aspect of the average person's life.
