Kind of funny how everyone is up in arms about an unelected Elon having his way with decision making (which I agree with in principle), but nobody was batting an eye when Joe Biden couldn't form a coherent sentence.  Who do you think was running the country the last 4 years? Joe Biden?!? 🤣

Maybe more of a reflection of where you look? In my world there is a ton of crossover between ppl who were extremely concerned about the last 4 years and the next 4 years in terms of "who's in charge here?"

I saw a lot of eye-batting from ppl who are still eye-batting.

My question is: who was/is actually in favor of either administration? Few ppl that I know or respect.

The old classic "enemy of my enemy is my frenemy" game, biting us in the ass.

I also color my perspective heavily from the realization that maybe 10% of ppl are actively sharing their honest political views on the Internet. 

Maybe 1% of them are doing so on X, and there's a heavy system bias influencing what surfaces (contention is prioritized for max engagement).

The rest of the activity is just narrative manipulation and lurkers looking for dunks and memes.

Honestly, from what I see on twitter, everyone seems to be pointing to Kamala because of what Trump is doing.

I agree with you, I feel Trump winning was not about what he was offering, but instead a rejection of Kamala, and her platform that "The last 4 years were fine, were going to keep doing the same."
