Community is a superpower, but simply setting up a slack/discord/etc as the primary way to cultivate/engage/leverage your community is like having super strength but only using it to open hard-to-open jars. Valuable? Sure. Are you using its full power? Debatable

just got back from 2 weeks in kenya and landed to SVB news on fri. so glad its not what we all feared but also cant help but reflect on how other markets have had to deal with unstable and unreliable banking for far longer than us, and how some incredible innovation has come out of that. seeing mpesa live was amazing

Re: OpenSea/Blur, seems like creators are the ones who will take an eventual L. In web2 we saw platforms making moves at their users’ expense to max market share/profit.
