went camping with a bunch of dads this summer and decided i want kids

30 years of being staunchly opposed, and it more or less vanished after one weekend in the woods with a bunch of guys that were only there to escape the obligations they'd created for themselves and i... decided i want that

been processing it for weeks now, but i haven't talked myself out of it yet

anyone else have a change of heart about kids later in life?

I obviously can't say for sure, but that sounds like a good group of dads to hang around. 

Being a dad is a fundamentally different frame and lens on reality. Good on your for being open to it.
