same. sometimes you just don't have it in you for casting or anything. and the "obligation" feeling can easily just lead to people spewing out low-effort content that doesn't really help the vibe here

yeah haha, and still do when i sit down at night when doing personal computer stuff. cross legged, slouched, etc. I also have a bad habit of slanting to the side while standing and putting pressure on my left hip/lower back. still 100% recommend standing desk though. but obviously get one that can be sit or stand

im sure some are overvalued, likely mine is but i don't regret it. but if you commit to a standing desk it very much becomes normal and not a "challenge" or anything. 100% helps my back, and when i switch to sitting i find myself feeling tired and unfocused

This is super cool. Especially being served via /ipfs and /pinata and using gun!! This is the first app i've seen that leverages so many different decentralized technologies to produce a private, super seamless user-friendly experience that normies can hop right into https://x.com/fileverse/status/1810705013901009138

I’m one of the relatively small (but quietly growing) number of journalists who likes and understands crypto and the idea behind Web3. This sentiment grew organically out of my own work covering the Edward Snowden NSA documents as well as the impact of wars, refugee crises, and sanctions on the free movement of information and capital. The internet has the potential to be an incredibly liberating tool but at present it is unfree and thus renders its users unfree. Now that truly decentralized platforms for sharing ideas and transactions are being built there is the possibility for giving them real network effects and allowing the internet to achieve its true purpose as an engine for promoting both liberty and global community.

lol. honestly i really try to get addicted to video games, but just can't. I go through phases where i get really into a game and play it a good amount. But for some reason, I always end up falling off and go back to either programming or music. I feel like it might actually be due to laziness, where I just don't want to do the "work" of booting up the game one night and then just don't do it again for a few months

yeah, things really are going to get crazy. forget who i saw say this but it was something like "movies will become video games, and video games will become something entirely new" that'd be cool, im on ps5 though, don't know if cross play is supported

i just started elden ring as well. it is veryyy open in that there is mostly no guidance and you just explore and figure it out on the way. I've had to look a few things up on what to actually do at first, but besides that i've only just begun exploring. so far it's really beautiful and believe i'm hooked
