definitely resonates with me and totally agree with the weird characteristic of requiring stamina. I'm infatuated with idea of a feed of ethos and shared context of crypto. But my brain is constantly having to filter out the new tip token of the day, generic images, tongue in cheek "cabal"s or miniapp for the chance of seeing a post of any substance. And then current politics is making me realize I've prbly given online personas in crypto too much benefit of the doubt throughout the years. Its up to people like us to build, but wish there was a bigger focus on making it a more open ecosystem, rather than making this the one-stop shop client. Weirdly it feels the most silo'd of all platforms. The pitch of channels was "it's just a feed with any URL as the root". Would be amazing if there was a larger cultural push towards openness and externally interacting with the network. have external apps instead of "internal" miniapps, that all anchor onto FC social graph.

curious if other people actually use notifications view inside github? I've tried a few times, but it quickly becomes just a flood of noise for things i don't need to be notified of. I mostly just rely on the slack integration notifications

I'm not even a socialist, but it really pisses me off when I see astronomically wealthy people lecturing everyone about how socialism is "bad for poor people". I'd like to see them put one tenth as much of this energy into criticizing fascism.

these images are insanely large, to where you usually can't even see all of the text even when it's just a line or too. Would love to be able to have a setting or something where we can select a sizing preference of posts in a feed. Much prefer to see more dense list of posts than one huge ass image that I can't even see the profile for

pictures are too big, and posts to blocky and too much padding. I want to be to see more than 1.5 posts in my window. doesn't help a lot of these pictures are miniapps or links for some new shilled tip token. If they're going to prioritize images so heavily, then should make the surrounding design more calming and less cluttered so it focuses them better

oh nice. yeah originally tried out chuck and then sonic pi a loong time ago too. But then tidalcycles really clicked with me a couple of years ago. Adding to obsidian is going pretty well. pretty easily got main functionality working. trying to cleanup the ux a bit and support hydra visuals and then will share it places. feel encouraged to share any patterns or videos or w/e here, even if they're just little learning experiments. would love for the channel to become more lively

hello hello! yes I intend to keep the channel active! been meaning to post some more performances/resources. I've actually been working on running strudel inside /obsidian, mainly for fun personal use at the moment. Is strudel your first exposure to livecoding? seems there's been a big wave of new interest latetely
