i didn't grew up using it, we always had it at home but my parent's didn't use them/taught me to.
my girlfriend talked me into it, and now i can't live without it.

I have to be honest.. In italy we joke a lot about that.. masculinity is still a big think thankfully, but we respect gay people pretty much.. at least, i do.. 
a joke is just a joke.. if we have to insult someone we go so much havier😂
