Oh, I love that 😍 😍 😍 Then I'm sure you'll be interested in this story. I can tell you that “Deva” is on the outskirts of my hometown “Gijon” in northern Spain. It takes its name from the river that crosses its fields. The origin of the toponym could be in the Celtic word "deva", which means “goddess”. The divinity to which it refers would be the watercourse itself, since the religion of the Celtic peoples worshiped rivers. Asturias (the community in northern Spain where Gijón is located) is part of the Celtic peoples of Europe 🤍
