True, I can see that. It can also go the other way and be awful - you never know. The first 4 nights in Italy on my upcoming trip are planned, the rest is left to chaos. 😂 We wanted to make sure we had some inexpensive places to stay on the Amalfi Coast at least.

I know, but I searched booking.com for a long time and was able to find a place in Ravello for 2 nights for 90 euros/night. Praino was a bit more at 123/night. I can get some discounts on that site as a frequent user over the years and if people cancel a good one might pop up. Have you been to Ischia? We were thinking of going there afterwards.
