Lots of ways to be earning much more on your eth than the 2-3% a solo staking node earns

Is there anything Ethereum/anyone is doing to raise the incentives to solo stake from home? The opportunity costs is $3-10k/year 😓

Exactly, staking from home is secure but the returns aren’t quite as appealing compared to other methods. The Ethereum Foundation is focusing on improving decentralization and security, but to encourage more solo staking, perhaps additional rewards mechanisms or yield improvements are needed. Adjusting the staking model to balance between security and profitability will be crucial in attracting more participants.
