It was a bunch of service calls and talking today, I didn’t get much footage of me working on typewriters. 

The only work I was able to physically do in the shop today —was a ribbon vibrator repair on this machine: a 1949 Underwood Universal

Hahaha honestly this is my first repair on one. Normally I’m dealing with a draw-band that has snapped or rust or jammed keys or just gunked up from sitting in a barn for 30 years.

My 12 yr old nephew is obsessed with typewriters and old stuff,  he got one for Christmas but now some keys are stuck so my mom is taking it in to be fixed,  made me think of you too bad you're not local 😅
