Just watched Poor Things. Easily one of the most original coming of age stories I’ve seen. What I liked was the possibility of constant evolution as a human. To see and experience what’s wrong with the world, but to continue being fascinated by it and not losing hope. Any other fans?

Ye it was visually amazing, but brutal in many ways how people exploited her innocence. But as you say, never really lost the optimistic view
