I have found that swiping on socials or flicking through short-videos cuts down the effect of a trip dramatically, up to the point that I can forget im tripping. I have a theory that this dampening is happening also when one is not on psychedelics, and it accounts for the sickly feeling one gets from rapid content switching. Has anyone read any research on this phenomenon?

I don’t have any research on this, but I am fascinated by your observation. I think it’s entirely beneficial for some people to rapidly switch. I think there are different operating systems within the matrix of processing the resonance of time. what you perceive to be dampening, others can perceive to be enriching.
