first day back after 3 months of parental leave tomorrow. somehow these sunday scaries are hittin a bit different hit me with your best tips for being a working parent to a < 1 y/o. fwiw, she’ll be in daycare during the day (but not when she’s sick, or when they’re closed in holiday 😅)

I noticed I was actually a bit more productive at work than I expected, since I wanted to make absolutely sure I could keep my start/end times I had in mind to have more time with the kid Also if you haven't started sleep training and are open to it, that was a life saver to having more time for housework at night

The people working at daycare probably do things differently from how you would do them because their goal is to care for all the kiddos. As long as you feel your child is safe and well cared for, let go of the particulars when you can.
