The Eastern Roman Empire (Russia did claim to be the Third Rome 🙄) vs The Western Roman Empire (one look at Washington DC and how it was built should tell you what the founding fathers thought of themselves as - successors to Rome)

It also ties in nicely because Russia is Orthodox (which is of course a descendent of the Byzantine Empire aka Eastern Roman Empire) where as America is the descendent of Protestants, which of course is an off shoot of Catholicism which itself came from the Western Roman Empire
