@dwr.eth how do you start a token gated channel? and why doesn’t any NFT family with mutual owners not have a default token gated channel? or am I just thinking about this all wrong or missing something?

In the early days of FC, there was token-gated casting and an early version of channels (it wasn’t user created).

I imagine token-gated channels created by users will emerge at some point. Curious to hear from Dan.

Channels aren’t at the protocol level yet so the community can’t really build on top for now but they did just release token-gated group chats which is a step in that direction

I think casts are a bit tougher since they’re public so would need a mechanism to encrypt or obscure them and then unlock for holders
