My dad got this “Harvard 5 foot shelf of books” for like 100 bucks when I was a kid. Barely read any of it back then - what a resource I wasted! But I managed to read some metaphysics from it over Christmas

Unfortunately metaphysics is back in in a big way lol. Even if it weren’t an interest of mine I think it would be smart to read a little bit because it might otherwise be hard to navigate all the different philosophical claims people are going to be making over the coming decade

So things don't exist unless someone is thinking about it, so the reason rooms don't evaporate when you walk out of them is that there is an all knowing omnipotent being thinking about the room? Seems like such a weak argument 🤦
