anybody have book recs/other media sources for understanding geopolitics and/or macroeconomics i want to be able to better understand and participate in conversations about what’s going on in the world

My only advice is to focus on history for a region that you are interested in. I learned so much about regions of the world by studying the history of the area. The United States is kind of tough because it’s so young but going way back in other parts of the world helped me understand a lot of modern issues.
