Need some parenting advice from the FC crowd!

Assuming your partner is delivering and not a surrogate…

Your whole job is support the mom. This might mean help the baby, regardless she's the boss. Everything you're stressed about, she's 10x more stressed + recovering + all her chemicals are changing + her whole body has shifted. Just get her water and shut up.

In my case I did not feel it… like I didn't get the crazy dad attachments till almost 6 months. Don't beat yourself up over it, they will come in time. It's tough until they start to react to you, but when they do you'll get it.
