Been wondering — what stops China from destroying or netting Starlink satellites if they, for example, run around the Great Firewall?

It seems it’s not an act of war bc it’s an American company, not an American asset. Intl doesn’t yet cover space either(?)

China messing with American companies seems to have been a grey area in terms of mobilized response.

And also, guessing there can be other approaches vs shooting down. Such as giant balloons that eclipse signal 🎈🤣

If China shoots down American satellites that’s going be viewed as an act of war
